Guest guest
Hello, We are currently trying the SCD diet on our 6 years old son and started 3 weeks ago. Things are going fine, after the scaring die- off period lasting approximately 4 days, he has been free from diarrhera. We do not see dramatical improvements in his behavior, but he is stable on his best performance so far. We have been trying to make yoghurt, using cashew nuts and two capsules of acidophilus from Kirkman's new SCD legal probiotica as starter. The result is 'so so', it tastes ok but it is very liquid. Should we expect thicker yoghurt from nuts or is thin as it should be? Is honey necessary in nut youghurts? Got the same result from Goat Milk. Have tried this previously with better result using a teaspoon natural yoghurt as starter. Could it be I should have used more capsules or other type capsules? Kirkmans Acidophilus Probiotic containing 3 Billion CFU Per Capsule. Two caps worked fine with cows milk. Looking forward to hear from some experienced manufacturers!!
