Please feel free to share this with anyone you think would enjoy a Sensory Friendly Movie. Sensory Friendly Movies have no previews, the lights are kept up a bit, and the sound turned down. This is so our children and adults with autism will be able to enjoy the experience. I hope that you will join us at the next event. The Autism Society has recently entered into a partnership with AMC regarding employment opportunities for our adults on the spectrum. Attending these movies is a great way for us to show our gratitude for their commitment to our community! G-Force Saturday, August 1 at 10 AM AMC Entertainment® and the Autism Society of America have teamed up to bring families affected by autism a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis. Guest guest
I missed it yesterday. Parents, what was your opinion of the movie? Better to wait until it comes out on DVD or is it worth the money to see it in the theater? Guest guest
Thanks to ASA for coordinating these special events for our kids. They truly are excellent opportunities to expose our children to potentially unconfortable situations. The movie was good, although I thought it was bit advanced for a 5 and 4 year old.
