What a lovely holiday 'present' you had! And the bonus was being able to 'see'

the other side(s) - your intuitive toddler and non-intuitive hubby :) :)

out...especially going to a buffet. Today we went to a big Easter buffet at a

local hotel after church. It had some incredible food. I took just a little bit

of everything that looked appealing to me...which meant steering away from the

salad bar :) I ate until I was satisfied and even left food on my plate and

didn't even think about going back for seconds. They had a wide variety of yummy

looking deserts, but by the time I was done eating, I had absolutely no desire

for desert. I don't know why, but I am finding it easier to follow IE

principles at a resturant than at home. I now LOVE to go out to eat...I no

longer spend the 24hrs prior to going out to eat stressing over what is going to

happen. It's a truly enjoyable experience!

much from toddlers :) He started by eating his desert first (a yummy jello

cake) and then dug into his ham, mashed potatoes, carrots, corn, and then

finished off with some fresh fruit. Just by instinct he ate a perfectly healthy

meal of his own choosing!!!!

40min drive) about how miserable he felt from eating way too much. :/ I asked

him why he didn't stop...he just said " It's against the rules to only eat less

than 2 plates worth at a buffet!!! " UGH!
