Guest guest
I'm not sure if this idea will help you or not. But when my daughter was about that age she always had a stuffy nose. So we would go bugar hunting every night before bed. I would get out the " nose sucker " (you know that blue thing they give you at the hospital) and try and get them all or if that didn't work use a q-tip. It seemed to help a lot and for some unknown reason she had a stuffy nose for the first 6 months of her little life. No allergies or anything that we could track down just one of those things. Hope you all get a better nights rest tonight. Dawnn SAHM to 6/5/
Guest guest
Amy, I would suggest putting some drops of breastmilk in his nose to clear it up. This usually works wonders and also helps to kill any sort of virus or anything that is in his nose. The wonders of breastmilk! Wendi http://www.lactivist.com breastfeeding info & resources stuffy nose From: amymichael@... ( ) My one month old seems to have a bit of a stuffy nose that I noticed at feeding time. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems because he is still eating well, but he is snorting. This might be why we were up ALL night last night and finally crashed at 6 a.m. He just wasn't sleepy and every time I put him down, he waited about 20 minutes and then started crying. Since he doesn't have any signs of a cold -- no runny nose or a fever, is there something I can do to give him a little relief? Also, has anyone heard from Fawn? Guest guest
use breastmilk to soften anything in the nose before sucking it out. Besides the wonderful warmth of it (compared to the cold saline solution in the squirt bottle) it breaks down the mucus much better.
