This is

such a great idea. Do you know of anything like this in Royal Palm Beach/Wellington

area? I would so love to have my daughter connected to a “big

Sister” She would just love it. In addition, I would love the

exposure to any Jewish culture she can get. Embarrassingly, we have done little

to provide her with this. Thanks.

Hi,

Just want to let everyone know of another resource available in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.

My wife and I have opened a branch of the Friendship Circle which pairs up teens

and special needs kids for an hour a week of supervised fun and play.

We also have a series of free Webinars on topics of interest as well as Jewish

Holiday and other programs throughout the year.

Feel free to contact us at anytime if any of the above interests you, or if

there is any other way that we may be able to help.

P. S. Do you know …

• A child with special needs who would enjoy the company of a friend?

• A family of a child with special needs, who would appreciate a little

free

time?

• A teenager who wants to make a real difference in the community?

Then tell them about The Friendship Circle today!

The Friendship Circle provides friendship for children who may not have many

social opportunities, or any child who can use a friend.

Though we require the parents to be at home when our teens visit we find that

the visits enable the parents to have some respite

there is no cost for the friends@home program

The Aventura Friendship Circle was (sadly) suspended a year ago and there is no plan to restart it.
