Guest guest
Last summer we got Ethan a Kettler tricycle. It works great because it has a handbar and a seatbelt and he can petal on his own with the petal attachments we added. He has a similar one at school. The problem now is that he is getting a little too big for it and the school is looking to get him a bigger one, but still have all of the safety features. His PT and I haven't been able to come across another option. I saw a Radio Flyer one that looked promising, but I really prefer it to have some sort of handle for an adult to hold. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jody - mom to Ethan (3.5 yrs ChARGE) and (6.5 yrs) --------------------------------- Yahoo! Autos. Looking for a sweet ride? Get pricing, reviews, & more on new and used cars. Guest guest
Jody, this is what our PT had to say (added to the other comments from people on list about bikes....) > ---------- > From: ann Girardi > Sent: Friday, February 3, 2006 8:29 AM > To: Pamela > Subject: RE: Tricycle > > Hi Pam, Freedom has trikes, but they are extremely expensive ( over 1000). Also they can try the Equipment Shop for trikes and or the saftey attachments ( not sure if there is a handle). Haverich also makes them ( expensive). That's all off the top of my head. ann > > > Tricycle > > Last summer we got Ethan a Kettler tricycle.
