As far as just paying co pays and not having to meet the deductible, it depends on the policy. Different companies have different policies, with some there aren't any co pays for Dr visits. You need to read the policy, if it's group there should be a certificate you can read. I rarely trust the people that answer the phone. ( I was told my coverage terminated 7-31-08, when in fact Miki had surgury that was preapproved on 9/04 and the check to the hospital was in the mail but the person on the phone was telling me we had no insurance.) See if there is a website and read.
