Hi, Friends... There is a new art program starting Aug 31st. It is called Art Possibilities. It is focused on creating jobs for adults with autism through the arts. It will begin for now meeting twice a week for two hours each time and then progress to a full time program from 8:30 to 3:30 p.m.Registration begins on Tuesday August 25th at the CARD center at Nova University in Davie. Tuesday, August 25th from 6 to 8 pm. Art classes will begin modestly twice a week (first class is August 31). Classes will be held every Monday from 4 to 6pm and every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30pm in the boardroom (second floor) at the Southwest Regional library... 16835 Sheridan Street. Pembroke Pines, FL 33330.

She needs 20 minutes for each appointment with the parent. Art Possibilities is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to create

jobs for adults with Autism thru the arts. Classes will be $30 for a two hours session including material. For now the organization will meet 4 hours a week. Later on when the program becomes full time, the rate will lower to $6/an hour from 8:30 to 3:30 in SW Ranches. 

This is just the beginning of thinking out of the box for our adults with Autism so we can create jobs for them through animation, drawing, cartoons, illustration of books, t-shirt creations, painting, comic strips, greeting cards…. There is a whole array of ideas in the vision of Art Possibilities. Let's create for our adults with Autism a fulfilling and different future where they may make a living and support themselves while they grow as productive adults in our society.

Even if your adult does not draw or show any interest you will be surprised how art is in everything and with the method Art Possibilities offers it will aid in bringing out the hidden art style in your adult.
