Time to Enroll in Florida KidCare

Uninsured families

throughout the state are encouraged to apply for Florida KidCare in preparation

for back-to-school. Florida KidCare, the state’s low-cost health insurance

program for children under age 19, is designed to provide low-cost healthcare

benefits to families regardless of their income. Coverage includes doctor

visits, check-ups and shots, prescriptions, vision and hearing screenings,

dental care, emergency services, surgical care and more. Florida KidCare

enrollment is open year-round and monthly premiums depend on household size and

income.
