Guest guest
Hello Gabi: Do you have HMO or PPO? I am waiting for a case manager to call me. Can you tell me some of the requirements to get ABA therapies Thank You, Jeannette To: sList Sent: Thursday, July 23, 2009 5:58:31 PMSubject: Re: LOOKING for ABA therapist that accepts AETNA Hello there. We also have Aetna and are finalizing the process to get our ABA sessions reimbursed.Aetna doesn't have any ABA therapists on the network, but they reimburse for out-of-network. The reimbursement is pretty good too, we pay $150 a session and have a $50 co-pay for therapies, so Aetna will pay us back $100. And our cap for all therapies is $36k per calendar year, up to $200K lifetime. There's some requirements you must meet though, not all Aetna plans pay for Autism. Make sure you call their Behavioral Health line and ask to get a Case Manager assigned to you. Ours has been most helpful.Good luck!Gabi>> Hi:> > I have a 4-yr old daughter diagnosed with ASD. She needs ABA therapy!!!!> I just found out through AETNA, that the health plan I currently have, offers coverage for ABA therapy. Does anyone knows an ABA therapist that accepts AETNA? Guest guest
Hi Gabi: I talked to Diane as well, but sad to say that here in Florida a lot of the Aetna representatives do not know yet what Autism is....?Jeannette To: sList Sent: Friday, August 28, 2009 10:51:12 AMSubject: Re: LOOKING for ABA therapist that accepts AETNA That's great, Jeannette! Congrats are in order... Who do you talk to? We now have Diane, she's very helpful as well. Just a heads up, make sure they are billing behavioral health as in network, you shouldn't have a deductible for that.Good luck! Gabi> >> > Hi:> > > > I have a 4-yr old daughter diagnosed with ASD.
