Well it has been a fun day to say the least NOT......

First off, Monday I pulled/stretched/ did something (I just know it HURTS

really bad) to the achilles tendon in my left foot, so I can BARELY walk, and

when I do, it is excrutiating.....but that is not it......

I had to go outside to check the mail, earlier....well so I limped outside,

and I smell fire....I look around to see if the neighbor's are burning

something, etc.....NOTHING, OK......good!

So I hobble down the stairs, and out to the mailbox, looking down the street

to see if I see anything NOPE, but I DO notice a match book, sitting at the

end of my driveway, which was NOT there before....

So I walk back towards the house, start up the stairs......and I HAPPENED To

Look UNDER my porch.......

THE WHOLE THING WAS SMOLDERING........and on fire......OMG, I FREAKED......

SOMEONE was trying to start my house on fire.....LEXI was home, OMG....

So I grab the hose, and douse it with the water, then I call Dh, I am

hysterical at this point, and I tell him someone is trying to kill

us......etc....

He tells me to call 911.....so I do, and they tell me to make sure the fire

is out.....And that a detective will call me

SO he just called my and Him, and some arson detectives will be out shortly

to investigate.......

I am still TOTALLY shocked by this, the ONLY person I could think of who

would do something like this is Dh's ex-wife, who almost 4 years later is

still harrassing us.......but she KNOWS we have a baby, WHY would she do

something that horrible.....

Well I don't need to start crying again, so I will stop with that, but I just

wanted to share my horror with everyone....

Also, does anyone here know how I can relieve some of the pain from my

tendon??

I have been doing 15 min ICE, then 15 min Hot, and it is not helping....

I am almost ready to go get it looked at, it is all red, and swollen around

it....

I am thinking maybe I need some anti-inflamitories or something??

I have some Vicoden around the house, but have not wanted to take it, but it

is getting to the point where I might need to.....

Anyone know how to help it heal faster??

Oh how horrible!! I'm so glad that it all turned out all right and that

everyone is okay! It makes you think though huh? There are so many " scary "

people out there. It's unfortunate but true. I am Really glad that you are

okay!!

Hang in there. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

The police came out, took down all the info, and then looked around and took

some pictures, and then said they will write a report!

At this point, since I did not SEE anyone, that is about all they can do, and

if anything else happens, then this report will be re-investigated!

I am still rather shaken up by this, it is TERRIBLE to think, that someone

would actually want to hurt us....

We have never done anything to deserve this....

And what about Lexi??

I am sorry, as you can see, I am very upset about this still......

The police asked me, if I had any idea who could have done this, and the ONLY

person I could think, was maybe Dh's ex-wife, but I don't think she would do

it....

So that leaves maybe some kids doing a prank or something....but this is NOT

FUNNY!

Oy, I will shut up about it, but thank you for your support, it means a great

deal to me!

That is extremely scary......I will keep you and you family in my prayers.

Fire is one of my worst fears. We had someone a few years ago throw a lit

rolled up newspaper into our car parked in the driveway....it was middle of

the night and luckily it never caught....just melted the seat. It is very

scary. So glad to hear you caught it before anything really serious. Joan
