Dear Friends

As you know, Triple Knot Productions is a not for profit, 501 © 3 video production company that specializes in telling the amazing stories of children and veterans with disabilities and how they overcome them.

Triple Knot Productions is currently in pre-production of its latest film, “Dear Mom and Dad, I Have Autism”. The film will focus on three families with children who have Autism. This production like all the films we produce will not only educate the viewers, but leave them feeling very motivated and inspired. This production is getting some strong sponsorship and support in the Autism community and that is awesome. I feel my work is really paying off and getting recognized.

However, today's tough economic conditions make it difficult for Triple Knot Productions to meet those needs without help from individuals like you. I am writing to seek your help that can help our worthy cause.

Our budget was originally $41,000. That amount has been lowered due to all personnel donating back their salaries. Yes, even I included. The amount we need to raise is $18,750 and we are getting there, but not there yet. This amount is to go towards the remaining part of the production budget.

I have teamed up with another non-profit who actually is one of the families that will be in the film. We are holding 4 different types of fundraisers from October to April, but as you know the film is slated to start next month. So we are trying every approach to get the funds raised.

The other family, the Suor family is in the process of creating their own non-profit, Children’s Hyperbaric Center of Tampa Bay. They will give free hyperbaric oxygen therapy to children with mild to severe neurological problems and other types of disorders.

We are asking for individuals to donate at least $30, but if they donate $50 or more, they get a free copy of the film, along with their tax-deductible letter that they are already receiving. If a business donates in their name of $100 or more, they will still receive the before mentioned as well as become an honorary sponsor at all 4 fundraising events.

Side Splitters Comedy Club Fundraiser – anticipated date of October 25th

Marty Balin – Jefferson Airplane Benefit Concert – anticipated date of January

MacDill AFB Golf Tournament – April 4th, 2010

“Dear Mom and Dad, I Have Autism” premiere – Tampa Shriners Hospital April 17th, 2010

They are distributed nationwide by Aquarius Healthcare. Aquarius helps us educate our viewers by having our films shown in schools, hospitals, libraries and rehab and therapy clinics.
