Transitioning into middle

school can be difficult- especially for kids on the autism spectrum. Reaching

Potentials is offering a 5 hour course over two days for children with Asperger

Syndrome and High Functioning Autism who will be transitioning into middle

school this fall.

Topics Covered: Bullying, Block and Rotating Schedules,

Locker Skills, Organization, The Hidden Curriculum, Changing Classes/Teacher

personalities and more!

Dates: Monday

August 3rd 10-1:30 (Bring a

sack lunch)

Thursday August 6th 9-12:00

(Parents will have a separate session from 11-12 so that they can be

briefed on the topics covered and to discuss a variety helpful strategies)
