Sheri, we have the glucose tested monthly. No problems. The cases of it

were something like 9 in 2 million cases, so I'm not too alarmed with it.

Other than gaining about five pounds in six months, (which david needed!), no

problems.

The only treatment we ever had severe problems with was Dr. Megson's

protocol, which triggered a seizure disorder that took a year to get under

control. So everything has its risks and benefits, don't you think?

Thanks for the info, though.

My son's zyprexa amount has just been reduced and he does not appear

as " drugged " as he once did. I feel that the brightness is back in

his eyes and face. My problem is, is that he is more impulsive and

nasty. Any suggestions on what we can use to help him. He is

chelated with Andy's protocol.

thank you in advance

Pam

we have only used it in an urgent situation, not on a regular basis... worked very well without being too sedating... but we used 1/2 of 2.5 mg tab for 165 pounder.

Hi!

I would like to know if someone already used the medication Zyprexa. Comments or recomendations are very welcomed.

The plan is to change, slowly, from the medication Risperdal to Zyprexa.

Thank you,

All the best!

Pedro, Myllene, Thiago (17) and Victor (11-HFA).

We use Zyprexa for an emergency med also. Can I ask why you are changing off

the Risperdal? The only time we give the Zyprexa is when our son becomes

agitated to prevent him from becoming violent. It works well with him, using

5mg for a 135lb boy. I will say that it does make him sleep a lot so we try to

only use it in the evening when we need it. In the mornings, we just muddle

through as best we can.

Why is he changing from Risperdal to Zyprexa. When I asked my dr. about

starting and AP (antipsychotic) med, he said they all cause weight gain in

children, and " ZYPREXA seems to be the worst. "

My other son with Bipolar is on Risperdal and it does cause weight gain, but

works the best for him. He has been on Abilify and Seroquel, but never on

Zyprexa, so I can't speak from experience on that one.
