Guest guest
No go on the high-dose Urso for Noah. 21 mg/kg is the best we could get out of her. She is firm. So, now here is our situation…Noah is on Gateway which is PA Medicaid…so we need to be seen in PA on that. Does anyone have experience getting the go ahead from a Medicaid provider to go outside the state? I think I prefer the s Hopkins route. Philly is quite a trip for a doctor’s appointment and I am betting that Pittsburgh would be the same. Any ideas here? Insight? We are looking into PA Virtual Charter School for Noah next year, so that will make things much more flexible for appointments, so maybe it does not matter. What do you do if your doctor is 2-3 hrs. away and you have a UC flare? Are pediatricians good about taking care of things locally or over the phone being able to talk through it? I am a mess with this decision. Thanks in advance,
