Guest guest
I can't believe it's almost here! In 5 days I'll be an " other- sider. " I'd love to hear of any advice that really helped during the hospital stay or the early days at home. I've never been in the hospital except for having my two babies. What can I expect when I wake up after surgery? Donna
Guest guest
Hi Donna, CONGRATS!!! It's 4 days now! LOL! When I was there, I don't remember recovery at all, vaguely recall ICU (My Dr. puts you there for one day), then remember waking up alert in the regular room. I just sorta " hung around " doing nothing. The nurses got me up to walk, I had visitors, etc...the pain was tolerable as long as I pushed my button, I recommend you do that for the first few days to help reduce the discomfort. I haven't had any babies, but I've heard, that if you can tolerate child birth, you can tolerate just about anything! Good luck, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Dawn Surgery in 5 days - Any advice?
