Guest guest
And of course, the Tank Engine-- full of social interaction, and kids on the spectrum love him. There is an anthology book that my 18 year old still holds on to > the Quiltmaker's Gift > Rainbow Fish > > > > >> Our 3.5 y.o. son was recently diagnsed with HFA and I am realizing >> that the collection of bedtime books that i normally read to him >> (dr. seuss, for example) may not be the best for him. Guest guest
the Tank makes sense- trains are so popular on the spectrum. My daughter fell in love with a book her older sister had from when SHE was little and it was bought at a library sale for old books. It was the rhyme and repetition that engaged her. It is called "Cheese for " and it is about a little girl who tries to get cheese for her mouse.I don;t know, maybe they will reprint it some day.If you ever see it, give it a shot.I grew up with The Carrot Seed and then they made a new reprint of it a generation later and it is very popular. And I am 55! > >> Our 3.5 y.o. son was recently diagnsed with HFA and I am realizing >> that the collection of bedtime books that i normally read to him >> (dr. seuss, for example) may not be the best for him.
