Guest guest
WOW! My darling little chunk is well fed as well. She is almost 28 inches long, but she weighs 23 pounds!! She is only 7 months old. The only thing that bothers me about this is that she looks older and people expect her to be more advanced than she is. I had soneone ask the other day why i was carrying her and not letting her walk, when i told them she is barely craawling they looked aghast until i told them her age. I also cant believe the numberof people that look at me like im lying when i give her age! Oh well, at least she is healthy!! Kym and Cailyn peachsmum wrote: > I too have a " fat " baby. Guest guest
Emma is also fat! She was 14 pounds and 22.5 inches at her last pediatrician visit at 8 weeks. And she isn't really getting any thinner! I can completely relate! I just get irritated when people feel compelled to comment on it, like there is something wrong with her or something. She is perfectly healthy! And I read on one of the web sites (can't remember which one) that even fat breastfed babies have a much less likely chance of being overweight as adults than formula fed babies because fat breastfed babies are adding more content to the fat cells they already have instead of creating new fat cells. Just a thought! and Emma 3-30-
Guest guest
>KNow what I hate--when complete stranger feel they can pinch Cades cheeks or >rub his (rolly) legs--they just walk up and do it, or reach out as we pass in >the store, without saying hello or introducing themselves---yuck! Am I the >only one whos ever heard of germs--lol Or when they kiss a baby... especially if it's in my favorite spot to kiss... or when they hold the baby and hand him back smelling like perfume. Wonder what these people would do if you pinched their chubby spots... or rubbed their legs in return.... fotfl
