Lyssa,

I find the fact that Canada has two distinct nationalities like that

quite fascinating. It almost reminds me of when the southern states seceded

from the Union during the Civil War. What do you think the chances of Quebec

seceding as well? Actually, I find your whole country interesting because we

never hear about anything going on up there. Man, we can be so provincial

most of the time. Thanks for your info.

Yes Canada is part of the British Common Wealth with the Queen as our head

political figure. Although of course her actual involvement publically is

minimal and things really fall onto the Governor General and the Prime

Minister.

Quebec hates it lol .. at least some of the politicians. There are alot of

English speaking residents in Quebec who do not ever want to see PQ seperate

from the rest of Canada ..

Is Canada really officially part of the British Empire of is just a

casual relationship? And how do the French folks (Quebec) feel about that?
