eating with distractions/feel your fullness

Hi All-

I am having a TERRIBLY difficult time letting go of my distractions while

eating. I LOVE to watch tv while I eat. I know it's not a good thing, but I

feel like I cannot give this up. I am even considering cancelling cable! I was

wondering if anyone has dealt with this and:

1. has insight into why i might be holding onto this so tight

2. how to get over it

THANKS!

(I've also noticed that when I try to slow down while eating, I am more anxious

about food)
