Guest guest
Hello , we have all been where you are at, well the ones who have already had the surgery. There is nothing I can say that will calm your nerves. It is something we all dealt with. main thing to remember, be yourself, no matter what.If it is meant to be, it will happen. everything is for a reason. I wish you the best of luck, try to get your mind on something eles, (easier said than done, I know.) You are in my thoughts. " K " wrote: Hi all. I'm very nervous... because I'm having my initial surgical consultation tomorrow. Then in a couple of weeks I'm having my psych evaluation (if things don't fall apart at my surgical consult tomorrow afternoon, that is!). I'm tied up in knots about all of this. Between dealing with two different insurance companies, all of the requirements that the surgeon has for me, and all of the hoops I have to jump through -- I'm a wreck! I'm so worried that I'm going to go through all of this and then I won't be approved to have the surgery (be it by the insurance companies, surgeon, or shrink). Does anyone have any words of advice to help calm my nerves? Or to help me to smooth the way through to the final process of being approved for surgery?
