Deb,

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have a lot of comorbities (health

problems). See what Dr. Thayer says before doing anything with your

meds, then take it from there. Maybe he can help change your regular

doc's mind if he thinks the surgery is necessary. Hang in there and keep

us posted!

Alice,

Thanks for your input. I am still fighting with my PCP about even getting

a referral. If she won't give me one I will have to find a new PCP. I

can't afford to pay for it out-of-pocket. I'll let you know how things go.
