I used to leak everywhere but by about three months I didn't have to wear breastpads anymore. It's not that I'm making less milk, I can be engorged but not leak now - weird, Hannah(UK) Mum to Bethany 5, Lawrence 3 1/2 and Verity 1 year

Guest guest
, I am sorry that's happening to you. A friend of mine always stuffs a cloth diaper in the other side of her bra to keep from leaking. Wendi venting I just need to complain for a minute - I am getting so tired of leaking! I am waking up soaked. When I feed the baby, his clothes get wet from being close against my body. I can't nurse on one side without the other side leaking. The breast pads used to be more effective, but now not as much, maybe b/c I'm not as engorged so I don't fill them out as well? Anyway, it's 4:30 in the morning which I'm sure is part of the problem of why I'm feeling " at my wits end " . Just had to complain to someone who could hopefully relate. mommy to Corey, 6 weeks old ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Give back to your community through " Grow to Give. Guest guest
~I'm not leaker, but my friend was BAD! She said it stopped adter about 3 months. I was workng one night & had a table of 5, including a one month old. It was about 2 hours since I pumped & the baby started crying. I immediatly felt the letdown & looked down at my shirt. I wear white & would'nt you know it my left side was soaked! I don't usually leak so I had nothing with me. Luckily there was a wedding that Saturday & there were some white cloth napkins left. I grabbed 2 & filled my bra. Needless to say I delivered their food & headed right to the back to pump. How embarresing! Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about the soakings!! Are you using fabric softener on the pads when you wash them?? That would make them WAY less absorbent. Sorry, just assuming you're using cloth. I would sometimes use a cloth diaper at night, too. No fabric softener there, either.
