Guest guest
hahahahahah Don't be saddened by this though, Lousia. Jacqui is almost 8. She just RECENTLY decided she wanted to play with dolls. BUT SHE CAN NOT NAME THEM. For example, she got a Baby Born for Christmas. Her main purpose for wanting this doll was to make it pee and poop...*sigh*. I asked her " what is her name " ...and with a very anxious look on her face, she thought and said... " It's just Baby Born. That's her name " . It's not part of her skill-set to be able to " pretend " it's someone. Even a doll is just a " thing " . Oh, btw...baby born hasn't been fed or clothed for 3 days now..... :-O Penny A doll called ****? I have to share this because it is at times it is hilariously funny and at other times it saddens me that she doesn't have the imagination skills that are needed. It shows more creativity than . Her dolls are always named what's on the package. Period. Even if that means they're called Amazing baby or some other silly name. Guest guest
Jacquie H A doll called ****? I have to share this because it is at times it is hilariously funny and at other times it saddens me that she doesn't have the imagination skills that are needed. Last year when Liesel was in the assessment centre she played in their little nativity play. It was only circle time but she was and they gave her a doll which of course was playing `Baby Jesus'! 12 months on when asked what any doll is called she simply says " It's baby Jesus " , which always raises a smile in everybody- especially as I try and promote her play skills so I sometimes get her to take a doll and the little stroller to a nearby shop and people will often say " Aw , what is your doll called? " And those big brown eyes smile back up at them as she says, " It's baby Jesus " with the look of `ARE YOU STUPID OR SOMETHING-EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Well you can imagine the laughs we have got especially through the summer months. I asked her the other day what her baby was called and she said, " It's Lord Baby Jesus " ....so I guess she has just been promoted!
