amelie surgery cancelled!!!!

Dear all

fed up amelie was cancelled at the death after being starved for 6

hours, they did not have a bed on ICU for post op recovery.

I said we want to take her home, especially after the fiasco at the

weekend, which I have learned today is a regular occurance that at

weekends if staff phone in sick they move you onto these massive wards

crammed in, not having it, she will end up catching everyones visitors

germs,yesterday the bed next to her had 8 people round it for 6 hours

its only supposed to be 2 people but no one said anything, i was

really wound up, but as usual said nothing because Darren doesnt like

me to complain, he hates confrontation or complaining, when at home we

dont let anyone near her.

so i flipped a little tonight and said i want her home tomorrow, and

the ENT can ring me when they have a bed, it could take weeks

apparently.

they said if the doc agrees on tomorrows rounds then ok, but it

depends on tomorrow.
