Guest guest
I really need some help if it is possible. My son sam had to have corrective surgery on his both feet a week ago. He is now home and of course things are so horrible. he was on an antibotic and oxticodon(liquid purcasett sp?) with tylenol in it but he is having a terrrible reaction to this. it is not at all keeping him calm or out of pain. I know tylenol is not recommended but i dont know why for our kids. he had to have this done and I knew it would be difficult since he is nonverbal and now can't weight bear for 5 weeks. I am very scared. Any insight into this pain medication/ I know it is powerful and probably a terrible thing to give him but he is in severe pain and motrin isn't working. he has a one on oneaide at home but he is banging his head nonstop with the helmet on. What else could I try/ has anyone had their child go threw a serious surgery like this and had success with anything? I know his gut must be a mess after a week in the hospital and all the drugs etc. I feel so alone because of course his Dr. doesn't understand anything about his gut or yeast or anything!!!! thank you,
