Guest guest
because a colon cleanse doesn't just empty what's in your colon--a good colon cleanse with all the prep done beforehand, loosens and cleans out the impacted feces in your colon. impacted feces are a different matter altogether and contain many toxins and bacteria that make you fatigued, sick, contribute to your allergies, cause belly fat, etc.. emptying out your colon for a colonoscopy is just to make sure there isn't any matter in it, but the impacted feces stay put. baron > > Okay, I got a quick question on this. Guest guest
Okay, I got a quick question on this. If my colon needs to be emptied, which on occasion it has, like when I had a colonoscopy, I had to drink as much of this gallon of gunk that was prescribed for me by the gastro dr. It removed everything was my understanding so they could do the colonoscopy. Made me wanna puke cuz it's nasty. lol. Now, a little over a year ago, I had to have a d & c because I wasn't shedding the lining of my uterus, (at my age they immediately suspect cancer) even though the thyroid will do this too when you're as grossly mismanaged as I was). My Gyno gives me a paper that says to buy this little bottle of magnesium something or other from the pharmacy (walgreens) that will empty me out (tastes good chilled). I take it, by a certain time one evening, next morning, I am on the surgery table. Now, this little bottle of stuff that don't cost anything tastes good? I kind of like this stuff! lol. It's not bad if you're suffering from not getting rid of the waste, so to speak. Now, if I can spend less than 2.00, to clean out my colon with something that actually tastes good, why would fasting for 2 weeks, which would make me really mean, nasty and sick from an all juice diet, ......then to have to go through an enema of strange concoctions? I'm guessing by now you guys can figure out, I really don't have a lot of excess time on my hands. lol SandyE~Houston Re: Re: concerning elevated cortisol..... my current MYSTERY situation > hmmm taking a coffee enema doesn't sound like any fun to me at all, > but I'm not a enema type of girl either. Guest guest
The store-bought & dr. prescribed colonic stuff isn't at all the same as colon cleanse with nutritional things in it. Those used for colonoscopies & surgeries are just strong laxatives to empty the intestinal tract of its contents. Not designed to truly cleanse & scrub the intestinal walls, kill parasites, get rid of unfriendly bacteria or other disease-causing gunk like that in the whole body as does a juice fast. That takes time & the proper ingredients. It also pulls toxins & poisons from other organs, glands & deeper cells in the body & dumps that junk into the blood stream too. That's what causes the aches & pains when it hits the blood stream. The dr. prescribed laxatives don't do any of that. And they're only a one time thing too. Tho they're a good way to clean the immediate waste out for whatever purposes. Like if one's body is very acid or suffering from some kind of food poisoning. A strong laxative like that could help a lot to relieve the misery really fast & is a good idea to use if one doesn't want to take an enema instead. The idea of the enema is to relieve the body of the toxic waste in the blood stream from the fasting so a person doesn't auto-intoxicate & have too much pain & discomfort to deal with. But, like you, I'm not ever going to do any more enemas on myself...can't anymore anyway. So a strong, fast acting laxative will have to do in case of real misery or acidity problems. MM Re: coffee enema's Okay, I got a quick question on this. I'm guessing by now you guys can figure out, I really don't have a lot of excess time on my hands. lol
