Guest guest
With my luck, the fish oil has Mercury in it. I'm already OD'd on too much mercury from teeth fillings. Re: Flax Seed Oil (or Hemp, or Fish) I have a botle of fish oil by Nordic Naturals and it has a lemon flavor in it.I have also used another fish oil i got in the refrig section and it also had a lemon flavor added. My sister takes a cod liver oil and it is lemon flavor too.I guess they do that otherwise it would taste pretty bad.I have never taken it w/out lemon flavor. So if you like lemon taste, it's not bad..

Mercola says it's safe: " Fish oil and cod liver oil don't pose the same risk as fresh fish as they are purified of mercury and other contaminants found in fish. Guest guest
Well I'm not about to toss out all my ground flax seed or the Udo's oils with flax oil in it either. I just bought a new bottle of it on Friday in fact. You bet I'm going to continue using it at least until I'm more stablized on the Armour or if I think it's at all interfering with it. I'll experiment with that after I start taking the Armour & see. I could change to fish oil later on too tho, no problem. I was raised on cod liver oil & got used to taking that every day when younger so it won't bother me. But not in a smoothie, that's fer shure. It's all an individual thing anyway with each of us. One size doesn't fit all, even with foods or other supplements. Re: Flax Seed Oil (or Hemp, or Fish) fish oil smells stronger but imo doesn't taste ALL that diff from flax seed oil. if you've been using flax seed oil for 2 years with no problems, that makes me feel better. b
Guest guest
LOL!!. Gel caps are good for lotsa bad tasting stuff. Re: Flax Seed Oil (or Hemp, or Fish) there's also gel caps you can swallow without tasting the fish oil... that way you only taste them when you burp. bahahahaha b
Guest guest
Moderation in all things...I agree. Re: Flax Seed Oil (or Hemp, or Fish) i think you can reach a point where a person is just plain paranoid of eating everything and anything. i think moderation is the key here, not total avoidance or total consumption. if you were to avoid anything that could be bad, you'd be avoiding a helluva lot of stuff, and you're right--might as well starve to death. baron
Guest guest
How doe she know that? Does he visit the purification plants or does he do it himself. How do we know we can trust him? Who CAN we trust for sure? There's so many contraditions. I don't even trust myself on these things. Guest guest
ostensibly fish oil is extracted through a filtration and purification process, so it probably really is safe. however, i think the whole mercury scare thing is completely overstated to begin with, as are most " food scares " like apples and so forth. i mean there is no degree of lunacy you can't take it to if you are of the mind to do so. the big mercury risk, from my understanding, is farmed salmon--so only eat wild salmon, and canned fish. otherwise you are fine. my diet is very high in fish and it's good for you. but since flax seed oil doesn't contain goitrogens (i guess only fresh seed does), you can stay on the udo's choice oil and not have any problems. baron > > How doe she know that?
