The purposes of the evaluation are to determine current level of functioning, clarify diagnosis, and provide treatment recommendations. A major goal of this project is to understand relations between brain activity and social and emotional development. We are currently recruiting children between the ages of 8-16 years who have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome or High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders. Participation will take place at the University of Miami and children will be awarded up to $120 for their time.
