Dear a,

Margot had her Nissen done 11 months ago. It changed her life and ours. She

was in constant pain because of reflux and despite 3 antiacid and reflux

drugs. The diet actually worsened the problem to the point where it was

unbearable. She stopped eating and sleeping and was just having a horrible

time. The nissen put an end to this. She also had a Gtube done at the same

time and we love it. Margot eats 3 meals a day by mouth but gets her meds,

water and pediasure through the tube. It is SO convenient and very easy to

manage.

The surgery and recovery was a little heavy but well worth it.

I would highly recommend it , especially before starting the diet. It will

also help you there in case she doesn't want to drink or eat.
