The Step Dance Studio in Winter Haven is offering a two week dance class, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for special needs children the weeks of July 27 and Aug 3.

The cost is $60.

This is a trial class – Amy , the owner, is excited about offering our students an opportunity to learn dance and after seeing how this class goes she may offer more in the future.

Right now, she intends to have some of her advanced dance students work as helpers with our children during the class. She thinks she would like to have parents attend the first class with their child and the helpers and then the remaining five classes no parents just helpers. The helpers will be ages 12 and older. In the lobby of the studio there are monitors so parents can observe the class.

She is considering one of two time slots to offer the class: a morning class from 9:30am-10:15am or an afternoon class from 4:00-4:45pm.

My youngest daughter dances at The Step and we have been very pleased with our experience with Amy and her instructors. I appreciate Amy for her willingness to offer a special class for our children!
