Guest guest
tonight I was waiting for my husband to get home so we could eat dinner. I was maybe like 6-7 hungry. while I was sitting reading I suddenly got the idea that what I really really wanted just then was a piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I could have popped over to the grocery store and bought one, probably, or made one. But it seemed like a lot of trouble, and everything was all cooked and we were going to eat probably within 30 minutes. So I didn't go out and get cake. Instead I had a little bit of the dinner even though it was not what I wanted. I thought maybe I was just having wacky sugar thoughts because I was hungry. Then he got home and we ate, and by now I have no particular desire for cake. If there was one here I might eat a bit just to see if it matched my expectations, but there isn't. So practically speaking this was probably the right thing to do, but do you think that I should have gone out and gotten what I really wanted? Where do you think this kind of scenario fits into IE? thea
