,

I have fibro too, so I feel for your pain. I came in on the tailend

of this flylady stuff - would you mind giving me the skinny?

Are you taking any supplements for your fibro?

My list of supplements flabbergasts most drs. The only regular meds

I take right now are 600 mg Neurontin & 600 mg ibuprofen.

Supplements specifically for fibro, mood & sleeping are: MSM, Gaba, H-

HTP, Valerian, Kava, cal/mag, and a super-B. I've also been taking l-

carnitine to control appetite, but I seem to have more energy as

well. And the blood sugar stabilizers may be helping as well, I'm

not as cranky - gynemna sylvestre (sp), vanadyl sulfate, and Non-

yeast GTF.

Scary, huh? And that's not all!

Thanks for the flylady info - I'll check it out.

I need to add *E* but, after working now I am SO exhausted. I know

poor baby *grins* These hour commutes are killers morning and

evening gets so old but, have to go where I can work even for chicken

feed. *grins*

I brought my Tae bo gold and basic back from the states but, haven't

touched them. I told Rolf yest would have been an excellent day to

go for a walk but, I was so sick Monday and am still feeling the

effects.

I can say though that with the vitamins, water, atkins, *E* and

supplements combined it does truly work to the maximum.

I am finding that <I am not hungry again so that's a good thing even

if the sweets have been jumping into my mouth in the evenings but, at

least it#s less than an hour sin. :) Yes, I will work on it! :)

Gotta get out of the naughty corner but, OHHHH the recliner feels so

good sometimes. *grins* Who has the remote???

Well, no matter, they are both hacked to pieces now and lying in a

You guys are really making that naughty corner sound good. How did I miss the nail idea anyway? No wonder I didn't get that job, I can't think outside the box. See Terry tricked me and I fell for the easy egg alternative when nails would hurt so much more!!! LOL

ROFL!!! I definitely have a visual of and the blizzard day. I hope it soothed that heat wave for you! Your too funny! Cheryl Ü and it's almost like the DQ sent a telepathic message to my brain that if ever there was a blizzard day, yesterday was it. It was worth it too! :-) Get more from the Web. my office is *supposed* to have air but, the europeans mainly germans

seem to not like the air and want the windows open...what a waste of

energy. it's aweful! And I don't catch the telepathic waves or if I

did it sure is hard cuz I am so far away from a DQ in fact none are

here where I can get to them at least in Germany and probably not in

the EU. lol

Heck there isn't even a freezer in this company to stick myself into

nor get ice cubes. They don't put ice in the beverages. ugh!

lol

Bobbi Jo, I really do need to get back to drinking my water. I have been

very bad about that this week. I don't know if TOM affects the amount of

water I drink or not, but it just hasn't sounded good this week. I am down

a pound today though. So at least my blizzard didn't add to my weight,

though I realize I would have had a bigger loss without it. But look at it

this way, at least I am going in the right direction for a change! I just

didn't think a 5 pound challenge was sufficient. 7.5 seems so much more

impossible! LOL

Woohoo Jean!! Going downwards!!!

Our group for the course that just finished is going out to dinner tonight.

We are being taken to an authentic chinese place by the 2 group members who

are chinese (just came from China in May), so I'm thinking that I'll

probably bounce up from soy tomorrow - it'll be in the air no matter how

much I try to avoid it! But I'll be able to stick to low carb at least :-)

Kirstie

also on the downward slope :-)

Laverne,

You were supposed to let me know when you were coming to Des Moines, I would

have gone up there to see you. Heck, I ran to Des Moines Wednesday night

anyway. Wish I had known you were there. We talked about it once, but I

forgot the dates. Drat.

Laverne,

You probably e-mailed the list during the time that our server at the

college was having problems. We had a 48 hour period when I was out of the

loop and didn't get any messages. In that case, you probably could not have

reached me personally by e-mail either. Of course, I see so many messages

that people are going to be out of town, that sometimes those get deleted

before I read the entire thing. It seems like everyone is doing something

fun, and I get envious and delete too soon. Sorry I missed meeting you. I

was thinking that show was in September, so I still had some time.
