Guest guest
On the note of weight loss I have to share this. For 9 months I did not loose much of anything. I could eat a lot or eat nothing and not gain or loose a pound. Until I found Weigh Down. It is a spiritually based weight loss program where you can eat whatever you want....it is not a diet. Just shows you a whole new way of relating to food. I lost 10 lbs within 3 weeks and it was the most painless thing. If you want to know more about this they do have a website. It is http://www.weighdown.com Tereson Mother of Eden Home of the $15 BABY SLING and Fuzzi Bunz STAY DRY Diapering System http://www.motherofeden.com
Guest guest
Tereson, Thank you I will definitely be checking into this. I have been losing weight lately (which I seem to start doing when my babies are 18 months, nursing or not) and would like to really keep it up. Guest guest
Dear Penny, Below is a link (copy and paste it) to height and weight averages for children based on age. You didnt mention how old Kenzie is so here you can check for yourself. http://www.babybag.com/articles/htwt_av.htm > I was so excited a couple of months ago that Kenzie gained five pounds. Yesterday when I was giving him his bath I was thinking he looked awfully thin. I weighed him and he's lost three pounds. He will be eight next month. He's 48 " tall and weighs 47 pounds. Is that way too little? I also just got a trampolene a week ago. He and I have been jumping on it a lot. I even lost three pounds. He mostly goes along for the ride on my bounces but he is pretty active. Do you think this could account for the weight loss? > > Thanks > Penny > >

Guest guest
yes! I 100% agree... I used caloriecount.com for several years and it actually further fueled my past history with disordered eating. - K > > > > > > Hi Kathy, > > > > > > congrats on reaching your healthy weight. Guest guest
Anne, That title, Sweat Your Prayers, sounds interesting. I'll definitely have to look into this book more. I did a quick search on amazon.com and I also saw that le Roth has a book with Angeles Arrien entitled " Maps to Ecstasy: The Healing Power of Movement. " That sounds sweet. I've been looking for some books to read about healing and wholistic movement. I can't believe it took me so long to really understand the purpose and meaning of movement for my life. So, thanks so much for the suggestion! I'm so grateful to be able to share like I do with all of you and it's nice to know that my experience is helpful. Guest guest
Anne, I thought that the name le Roth sounded familiar to me. During an expressive movement class in graduate school, I actually was exposed and tried Roth's 5 rhythms(flow, staccato, chaos, lyrical, and stillness) that are discussed in Sweat Your Prayers. So, I'm somewhat familiar with the work. I looked through the contents of both books on amazon.com last night and I was intrigued by what I read. I'm not going to buy the books at this point (like many I'm conserving my money where possible). And unfortunately, these books are not available at my local library. I did place them on my online wishlist. Eating by the Light of the Moon is also on that list. I'm now very interesting in buying one of her musical CD's entitled Tribe, which has music that I can move to from each of the five rhythms. > If you do read either by le Roth, I would love to hear your thoughts. > Anne

Guest guest
, Yeah, I did checked WorldCat.org to see the closest library that had these books and there were none in my city. There were some libraries (mostly at universities/colleges) that carried the books within 50 miles. My local library doesn't have an ILL request form online, so I'd have to go into the library to make the request, which I may do.
