Neurontin & Elavil & shaking?

I am on 40 mg/day of Elavil (amitriptyline) and I think 600 mg of

Neurontin 3x/day. Over the past month especially I've noticed a lot of

shakiness in my hands and involuntary muscle spasms that feel like

little electric impulses going up my fingers. I called the doctor and

described the symptoms to the nurse to talk to my doctor about but

since I don't remember if the shakiness happened directly after the

last dosage increase she didn't sound too impressed. The doctor hasn't

called me back yet - she usually waits until the end of the day. Has

anyone else noticed any shakiness with either of these drugs? Did

anyone get off of these and onto one of the newer ones like Lyrica and

Cymbalta that worked better? Thanks!
