Guest guest
Welcome! I've only been with this list for a few days and these women have lots of information to offer. it is so wonderful that you are breastfeeding your son. I think a a lot of moms your age opt for bottle feeding for many reasons. but then again you became a mother under different circumstances than most moms your age. you will find lots of support here! Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist > > > Hello my name is . I am 16. I have a 14 month old baby boy named Ethan . I was raped when I was 14 and that is how Ethan was conceived. Of course I kept him. I still breastfeed him and will probably quit breastfeeding him when e is 18 monthes old. > > I am hoping to get to know all of you girls. > Sincerely, > > -- > > > >Hello, > > > > >Welcome to the list. Guest guest
Sorry- didn't mean to generalize. It just seems that a lot of the teen/younger moms I have met do bottle feed. but that's only my very narrow experience. blithe Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist > From: Phawxsee@... > > In a message dated 6/11/99 4:11:17 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > jbplatt@... writes: > > << I think a a lot of moms your age opt for bottle feeding for many > reasons. >>not me!!!! lol > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > With more than 20 million e-mails exchanged daily... > http://www.onelist.com > ...ONElist is home to the liveliest discussions on the Internet! > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Breastfeeding is Best!! > http://www.maclee.com/breastfeeding > http://forums.delphi.com/bf_list/start > > If you like this list also check out http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/weanedbuddies >

Guest guest
Christy, Welcome and Congratulations. You will find a lot of infomation here. Ask anything you like. I am Wendi sahm to Kaija 7yo and Zaid 19 months (nursing) I am married and live in No. Ca. Wendi Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist Hello Everyone. My name is Christy, and I am 31. My husband and I have one child, Chandler (18 months), and we are expecting baby #2 Jan. 8, 2000! We are so excited. I breastfed Chandler until he was 14 months old. I would have continued to breastfeed, but I was having many problems at the time. Well, that is about it for now. I will look forward to hearing from you soon. I had many breastfeeding questions with Chandler, and I am sure I will have many more with the new baby. Christy.
Guest guest
, Welcome and congratulations on your baby. What is her name? Please feel free to ask any questions you may have as there is probably 200 years of breastfeeding experience on this list. Wendi Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist From: NFLI4U@... Hello: My name is , and I have a 3 year old boy and a 5 day old girl. I breastfed my son almost exclusively for the first 5 weeks of his life, but then had gall bladder surgery and never went back. I'm currently breastfeeding my daughter, and feel much more motivated to continue. I am looking forward to all the advice and comraderie. Its like an on line la leche league meeting!!! I love it. ---------------------------

What if I pump and then my baby is hungry? >> If she has gained 3 pounds in a month you don't need to worry about her starving The good thing about breastmilk is you always make more so don't worry about pumping. If it's easier to do while she is nursing then do it then that's fine. Amy
