Yeah! My mother and I have started " seriously " talking about options for the

delivery...I want her and my father in there and my grandmother....My mother

will help keep me breathing Dad will probably be freaking out LoL he doesn't

likes blood but desperatly wante to see His first grand baby come into the

world...My grandmother will be the one writing everything that happens down

for his or her baby book. These weeks are really draining on me! This

mourning I felt horrible and I woke up with a Charlie Horse I even started

screaming for my mom it hurt so much (she didn't even come to my rescue

boohoo)

That is so good to hear. It is very important to have an advocate there who

can make sure it all goes as you want.

I love your name choices. Do you have a doula? Or someone strong who will

be with you at the birth? I hope so.

You might want to think about an extra calcium supplement. It took my leg

cramps right away. Right down how you want your birth to go it helps to

get things clear before you go in. I know how hard it can be in the end.

I was late with both of my kids. I wanted so bad to deliver my son on

Oct. 1 and he didn't come until the 22nd. I thought I was going to die. I

didn't though and now he's almost 2 and I can't believe it. I won't even

say to try to rest because I know I couldn't for weeks before either of

mine were born. Just try to remember that no matter what your baby will

come eventually. :D

Not to freak you out or anything but one night when my DH came home from

work I was going through some maga pain and was in tears. As it turns out

my Son, Brent was pushing on my rib cage. Man, was that the most

uncomfortable thing in the world! Anyways, he did it only once thank god.

Hope your birth of your baby is a good one. Brent was a great one. I'll

have to tell you that birth story sometime.:)

Lol... that sounds just like me! I had my mom, my sister and dh in with me.

Anytime *anything* happened I started yelling... did someone get that?? Make

sure you write that down! I didn't want to miss a thing!

Good luck!

Muscular contractions like charlie horses are a result of low blood

calcium. Chug a quick glass of milk (if you can stand it) when you get

one... or drink 8 ounces before bed if they happen often. Try eating other

foods, not just milk, that are high in calcium too, all throughout the week.

The next charlie horse you get, start practicing your relaxation

techniques. For me, even with my unmedicated delivery, none of my

contractions were as awful as a charlie horse, mostly because they werent

so sudden... but the relaxation techniques, focusing on that muscle will

help you learn how to work WITH your body, and not against it... really

helpful when you are in transition labor. :)

If you have time and are interested, Natural Childbirth The Bradley Way has

great info on relaxation, whether or not you go natural, and has drawings

of positions for labor... plus my favorite were the emotional signposts of

labor. They were right on for all three of my births!
