The most they get when they ask for a med her IF they're lucky is a tylenol or ibuprofen.

Sounds like a mess when the gp won't work with you. Can't your pain doc work with you to find someone Decent??

,

The GP I go and see has my Records from Birth to current....I've been going to the same Clinic ever since I was born except for 3 years of my life. So, they have my whole life's medical files in that office, including everything that I went thru with W/C because I told every W/C idiot that I needed a copy of whatever they did sent to this doctor also so that all of my Medical files were kept together. And, if they refused to send him a copy, I made sure thta my lawyer sent him a copy.

This GP is pretty good about giving me referrals to anywhere I want to go without asking me any questions.......which is why I keep him. I have been going to see my Pain Doctor for over a year now, and haven't had to go and see my GP for a check up once over it. Most doctors will make you come into their office for a check up every 3-6 months for them to keep giving you a referral to a different doctor........but, mine doesn't really care about that as long as I'm being taken care of. They have it written down in my file that they are to call each and every month and give me a referral, so that I don't have to keep calling them every month and remind them to call and give the Pain Doctor a referral for me, like I used to have to do. Its just automatic now for them to do it, which is good because I'd never remember to call the GP's office to have them do it either! lol

It would be impossible to find a GP to take me on anyways with this prior injury/DX.....and that would utomatically give me the Automatic Referral without sending me for all of the freaking Testing and new diagnosis's again....
