Guest guest
> Is plain popcorn legal? > Fw: Food Allergy Alert Hi . No corn is legal. Popping corn is simply dried kernels of corn. Have you been using it as that may have impeded progress.? You have tried SCD for a five weeks and appear to have not seen results. You could set a time limit on staying longer and always retry it at some later date if you decide to stop. It is a healthy diet but is not the answer for everyone we know. Still, results have been so good overall that we encourage people to give it their best effort before giving up. Some of the other parents who persisted rather long will add their two cents. Occasionally things don't progress if some unrealized error is being made. But although that is often the case, it is not always the case. Carol F. Guest guest
> Is plain popcorn legal? Popcorn is one of the biggest issues my son has had on gfcf and is the reason I have decided to try SCD. If he has gfcf legal popcorn, he get very hyper. He is usually up past midnight jumping in his crib, wakes up at 7am, won't take a nap the next day. And finally, about 24 hours later, the poor little guy just crashes! It's really quite sad! I love raw pecan halves with a little honey on them or blanched almonds roasted in butter and lightly salted. I even bake sliced fresh mushrooms on a cookie sheet until crisp and use them as a " nosh " instead of peanuts. Carol F.
