Guest guest
Sorry Anne, no ideas, except to maybe try upping the ratio a little if they stick around Other than that, I can only share the frustration of having the diet working, being on it for a long time, and then not having it work Crownovers wrote: > Okay, after almost 8 years on the diet, my son Ben (10, athetoid cp, > etc.) has started having szs again. Guest guest
Anne, I agree with , I'd look at raising the ratio. And although you know this........ I'd look at anything new -- new brand of bacon, new mayo, new mealplan, new dog in the house, anything that could be different. I'm a true believer that the key to seizure control is to figure out what lowers the seizure threshold in our kids. Sounds simple, but it's the DEVIL to figure out. Hope things settle down soon. And DON'T feel defeated if you try the AEDs -- there are a lot of new ones out since you were there (same with us), so you might find some relief in them.
