Guest guest
I would say yes because they look at your fingernail color during surgery. I think they want to make sure your getting enough oxygen and can tell by the color of your nail bed. I had to have mine removed when they yanked my tooth. Guest guest
Hi , I asked my surgeon the same question, she said I only had to remove one nail, it can't be the pinky or the thumb though. You might want to ask your doctors office, because they might have different rules. Good Luck > Hi Everyone, > I have a question for the ladies in the house. I have acrylic nail covers on my nails so they won't split and break. Do I have to remove them for surgery? Lee
