Ironically just today a nervous mother, while breastfeeding her hyperbilrubinemia baby (out from under the lights) expressed concern to our Midwife (MW) about the SBR level. Our excellent UK MW told her " it's okay, just keep breastfeeding " . I do not however know the implications of a Hg toxic Mom breastfeeding. R.N.
