Guest guest
If she's on the keto diet the stomach problems or upset can be from that. Constipation is a common symptom of the diet and my daughter regularly complained of stomach aches while on the diet. You can imagine all that fat would cause some upset. in KS

Guest guest
There are some hints, I think, in the files section of the yahoogroups ketogenic webpage. My suggestions are smaller meals, more often; less food; lower ratio; milk of magnesia (especially at night); sit up after meals at 45 degree angle; lie on stomache or side; raise the head of the bed 6 inches; use easily digested foods and fats. I may have forgotten some others. This takes time, but it can work. Yes, it's due to the high fat content. Think back to the last time you ate a bucket of Kentucky fried chicken! Think about not eating the meat or coating, just the fat and skin. Bill deneesad@... wrote: > How do you treat relflux naturally???? You said most kids get reflux on the > diet?? Guest guest
Just remembered. Drink a bit of soda water at the end of the meal. Bill deneesad@... wrote: > How do you treat relflux naturally???? Guest guest
Deneesa, Yes.... it's due to the high fat content. Many kids get better as the ratio is lowered a bit.... once they've been on the diet a while. Another thing that can help is digestive enzymes (a supplement you can buy in natural food stores and mix with food). Patti ----- Original Message ----- From How do you treat relflux naturally????
