Guest guest
Oh Zanna... oh Su-zanna, oh don't you cry for me, for, I've gone to Alabama with a banjo on my knee..... oh it just came over me and I couldn't stop myself I can't tell you a whole lot, except it sounds pretty much like others who taper Pred. I still can't believe I didn't have horrendous problems when I stopped it cold turkey. Lucky me, or memory totally shot! Do not strain those tender muscles, kid! Try to ease into more exercise, gradually and gently. Hope this cruddy pain leaves you soon. Hi W Hall! I've never seen anyone put down anyone else on this list. That's only one thing that makes it a very special list, as I've seen it happen on other message boards. I'm glad to know your husband is aware you might leave. At least he has to be thinking about it. Has he ever liked sports,or does he like to read? Reading for me is a big escape and I enjoy it so. Would he, being male, be interested in things like model railroads, modeling ( cars, ships, etc.)- stuff he can build? A woodworking hobby? My husband learned to make golf clubs and do repairs and put grips on golf clubs- he makes a little money on the side doing it, and it didn't take him long to learn to do it. Not much investment, either. But then, he loves golf. I don't know how well he can get around or how much he can do, so I'm thinking of things that don't require much strength or movement. As to myself, I had polymyositis many years ago and went into a LONG remission. I was only 22/23, and I did get a job a couple of months or less after I'd been diagnosed and was still quite weak. It was a desk job at an insurance company. I don't work outside the home now and havent ever since I had my children. The way I have been feeling for the past year or so, I honestly don't think I could manage a job very well, but I still think about it. " They " say I have fibromyalgia, but our dear Miss Vicki thinks it's still the old PM. Truthfully, if it is fibromyalgia alone, I feel worse than I felt with PM alone. I'm also a lot older! I guess what I'm trying to say is, more of my body parts feel more unwell than they did back then. Vicki, keep that " go for it " attitude, and when you can't, just let us know. I forgot to tell you I WAS able to see your granddaughters and they are adorable! They look SO much alike. Last night I read about an experimental drug for pulmonary fibrosis that sounds promising, but felt deflated when I read it's not available here in the U.S. There have been trials of it in mice and some humans. It's called Perifidone, or Perfidone. Let's smuggle some of it in for you I wonder if the powers that be, who track email and phone calls, will pick up on the word smuggle and read all my emails? And tap my phone, and surveill my house?
