Yogurt Dilemma?

Hi friends, a question.

We have been SCD for over 6 months now and still have problems with

yogurt. I try and can only give a tiny bit still, like a half a tsp

every other day or so, and I don't see any improvements when I give

it. His bm's look good anyway, and he seems better when I DON'T give

it to him, but I want him to get the good bacteria.

Could it be that he has a problem with the custom probiotic? It has

a strain called thermophilus in there that I heard can cause trouble

in some people. Should i just stick with the probiotic acidophilus

powder for now and ditch the yogurt?

The goat caused him major sinus trouble and behavior stuff, but the

nut causes itching and hyperness and loopiness as well. I am a bit

frustrated about the yogurt. I hear it is so important, yet I don't

know why we can't seem to do it.

Has anyone else been unable to do yogurt successfully? We are on

such a limited SCD diet, and I wonder if we will be able to branch to

other foods without the acidophilus in our bodies. I don't want to

do enzymes particularly, so I don't know.

Sinus trouble and behavior problems could be from his body

detoxifying. The mucus membranes are one of the first places that

our bodies detoxify. A lot of times when starting new whole food

type supplements it can cause what seems to be a really bad cold,

but it is really your body cleansing itself from the toxins in your

system. I also know that die-off causes some behavior problems too.
