Guest guest
Ania, One week is certainly not long enough to judge..... especially since she is still recovering somewhat from that UTI, and is still on antibiotics. I'd give it some time. Good to hear she seems to be tolerating the food. The only thing I might suggest about the food choices would be that I don't think I would use carrots or peas at this point. They would definitely be on the higher end the glycemic index.... better choices would be the zucchini and things like tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, green pepper..... even canned pumpkin is fairly low in carbs comparitively. You get a larger volume of food that way and they seem to be safer choices in terms of the goals of the diet itself. Patti, mom to Katera...... former Keto kid for over two years. I know that we need to wait for the UTI to clear, but should we have seen some results by now? Thanks to everyone for being on this list - you may not know it but you all are my lifeline. Ania.
