Guest guest
Hi all, This happened a while ago but is it the same arm that is bothering me now. I woke this one time with discolored hand, no feeling in the lower arm and yellow to purple gray color. I swear it looked like my hand was dead. I just presumed I slept wrong and it had fallen to sleep. When I moved it recovered all color. It scared me, but I thought is was just from sleeping wrong too long. Any comments on discolored hand will be appreciated. I always felt this was due my underarm flesh being sooooo soft and squishy. I especially get this when slightly dehydrated on wake up. It sounds in your case like it was just a one time thing. You could have had some minor sub-lux or other compression take place during the night that impinged/entrapped the veins/arteries in the Brachial Plexus. This would absolutely cause the discoloration, as well as a feeling of cold in the arm/hand, plus numbness or tingling.
