Guest guest
Hello All, I just wanted to make something clear. Yes, my son now has a fear of swimming. I know and trust my son's teachers and therapists, for they have always kept me informed with everything that goes on with him. I do not know why he started with this fear for he can not express that to me. Could it be the place he went to? Could it be that they worked him hard and then became afraid? I do not know. We do not want people to question us though becuase he now has a fear of swimming because he has had lessons while he was in school. He is in the best school for him and when he was in preschool he was at Baudwin which was the best preschool for him. When my son was in Pre-K for the 2007/2008 school year, my husband and I toured several schools. We got lucky that our local public school had an amazing program. And guess what, he is graduating kindergarden on time! My son was born at 33 weeks, weighing only 2 lbs 11 ozs and was 14 inches long. So, from the beginning we knew that we were going to have to overcome obsticles. We knew at 1 years old he had Autism but did not get he diagnosis until he was 3 years old.
