Guest guest
On Elaine's website http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ plantain chips are classified as illegal. However in the scdiet.org website archives, Elaine's answer about whether plantain chips are legal was: " If you can be sure there is no sweetener added to plantain and banana chips then they are OK. " (Source: http://www.scdiet.org/7archives/scd002.html) Can anyone resolve this question? Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Hi Gerard, To further answer your question more recently while on Lyris Elaine wrote, " I do not have any expertise in various types of banana. The ordinary banana that we use in North America is the only one I know about. Perhaps you can go to a search engine. One thing I know is that PLANTAIN is not legal - too much starch even when considered ripe. Two weeks is an awfully short time to judge if SCD is working. " from http://lyris.dundee.net/read/messages?id=251955#251955 The scdiet.org archives are older and do not always reflect more recent changes. The BTVC website has the most up-to-date information. http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ Plaintains are listed as illegal on it.
