Guest guest
Hi, I need a good, quick and easy recipe for some hard candy. I know there are some posted, but just wondering what your best bets are. I want to make some suckers maybe also. My son eats raw honey and does fine with it. Someone told me today that raw honey is very good for allergies. Any thoughts on that? Thanks, Tina SCD over 6 months with boys Abraham and Micah (celiac, all)

I use the peanut butter caramels recipe at http://pecanbread.com/recipes.html The picture there is from my daughter's birthday party. A couple of minutes later there was nothing left. If you boil it longer than the fifteen minutes (about 25) and then add the pnut butter (you don't really need the five at this point but you have to stir coonstantly so it doesn't burn) once it cools it'll be okay at room temperature. I put this in Lollipop molds with sticks for my kids. A nearby bakery sells all sorts of different molds Christmas, halloween, characters etc. > My son eats raw honey and does > fine with it. This causes the honey to help your immune system build natural hystamines to the plants in your area. Local honey is supposed to be very good for asthmatics in this way.
